The cancellation came only three days after Stephen publicly criticized CBS’s parent company, Paramount, for a $16-million settlement with President Donald Trump after he accused 60 Minutes of “deceptive doctoring” in how they edited an interview with former vice president Kamala Harris. Paramount is also in the middle of a potential merger with Skydance, which requires the approval of Trump’s administration.
